An impressive display against Chelsea helped Illan Meslier (£4.6m) to his fifth double-figure haul in 2020/21 Fantasy Premier League.

The Leeds United goalkeeper made eight saves and collected the maximum three bonus points, earning 11 points in the goalless draw.

Meslier save v Chelsea

Meslier has produced 32 points across his last four matches ahead of a favourable short-term schedule.

Leeds’ match at Fulham next Friday is one of only four fixtures in Blank Gameweek 29.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side then host Sheffield United in Gameweek 30.

Mendy on impressive run

Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy (£5.1m) also extended his outstanding form in Fantasy.

The Senegalese recorded his fourth clean sheet in a row, making four saves and earning nine points at Elland Road.

Thomas Tuchel’s side have kept 10 shutouts in 12 matches in all competitions since he was appointed head coach.

Crystal Palace No 1 Vicente Guaita (£4.8m) was another goalkeeper to catch the eye on Saturday.

He continued his excellent home form in a 1-0 win over West Bromwich Albion.

Guaita picked up eight points, taking his tally to 24 points across his last three outings at Selhurst Park.

Midfield returns hard to come by

Palace's Luka Milivojevic (£5.6m) was one of only two midfielders to deliver double-figure hauls on Saturday.

He converted a penalty to earn 11 points, his highest score of the season.

Burnley winger Dwight McNeil (£5.7m) was awarded 10 points thanks to his goal in a 2-1 win at Everton.

Both players were huge differentials, owned by fewer than 0.5 per cent of managers.

Calvert-Lewin up to third

Everton’s consolation came courtesy of Dominic Calvert-Lewin (£7.7m).

His first goal since Gameweek 23 moved him into third place among forwards, on 136 points.

Chris Wood (£6.2m), meanwhile, scored in back-to-back matches for the first time this season.

The Burnley forward added to his goal against Arsenal last weekend by scoring the opener at Goodison Park, earning eight points.

Man City dominate defensive charts

Three Manchester City defenders are among the four highest-scoring players for their position after the leaders won 3-0 at Fulham.

John Stones (£5.3m), who made only his second start in four matches, scored the opening goal to claim 14 points.

Joao Cancelo (£6.2m) supplied the assist for Stones’ strike and earned 12 points.

The highest-scoring defender, Aaron Cresswell (£5.8m) is in action on Sunday when West Ham United travel to Manchester United.
