The three top-scoring players in Fantasy Premier League look set to compete for managers' Gameweek 12 captaincy.

Son Heung-min (£9.6m) and Harry Kane (£10.9m) will be heavily backed for the captaincy as Tottenham Hotspur visit Crystal Palace.

Son has produced six sets of double-figure hauls this season, more than any other player in FPL.

The South Korean also has a fine record against Palace, scoring four goals in his last four starts against them.

Kane, meanwhile, has been more consistent than his Spurs team-mate this term, blanking only twice in the first 11 Gameweeks.

Furthermore, he has scored in each of his last two trips to Selhurst Park.

Salah improving on the road

Mohamed Salah (£12.3m) will also be among the armband favourites for Liverpool’s match at Fulham.

The Egyptian claimed 14 points against Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend, his highest haul since Gameweek 1.

Away from home, Salah has averaged 7.6 points per appearance this season.

He has scored four goals on his travels, already matching his total on the road from last term.

Budget options

Patrick Bamford (£6.2m) and Callum Wilson (£6.6m) both have favourable home matches to raise their appeal.

Leeds United’s Bamford has scored eight goals and supplied two assists ahead of a visit from West Ham United.

His 43 shots and 38 shots in the penalty area are both more than any other player in FPL.

Wilson’s average of 7.4 points per match (ppm) is bettered only by the 8.9ppm of Kane among forwards in Fantasy.

The Newcastle United striker faces a West Bromwich Albion side who have struggled in defence this season.

West Brom have conceded 23 goals, 113 shots in the box, 65 shots on target and 30 big chances, all of those being the worst totals in the league.
