Eight up-and-coming talents have been nominated for November's Premier League 2 Player of the Month award.

Nominees were selected by the Premier League Football Development Panel after PL2 club coaches picked out the best performance by an opposing player in each of their league matches during the month.

Liam Delap (MCI)

The 17-year-old forward netted three times in three appearances for PL2 Division 1 leaders Manchester City. He followed up a goal in a 2-2 draw against Chelsea by scoring twice and providing an assist as his team recorded a stunning 7-2 success at title rivals Liverpool.

Alfie Matthews (CRY)

The attacking midfielder was pivotal as Crystal Palace recorded back-to-back Division 2 wins. Matthews scored twice and provided an assist in the 6-0 success versus Reading and followed up by producing another goal and assist in a 4-3 victory at Sunderland.

Liam Millar (LIV)

The 21-year-old Canada international scored twice in Liverpool's 4-2 EFL Trophy defeat at Port Vale. He also made three Division 1 appearances and was influential in a 4-2 victory at West Ham United, scoring with a penalty and playing a key role in midfield to inspire a fifth win of the season.

Nikolaj Moller (ARS)

Signed from Malmo in October, the 18-year-old Swedish striker scored twice as Arsenal won three Division 1 matches in succession. Moller followed up a goal and an assist in a 6-0 win at Blackburn Rovers with another strike in a 3-1 home success against Derby County.

Joel Mumbongo (BUR)

Mumbongo, 21, netted a stoppage-time equaliser as Burnley drew 2-2 with Aston Villa. He then scored the winner in a 2-1 victory against Fulham and was denied a third goal in November by a brilliant Jon McCracken penalty save in a 0-0 draw versus Norwich City.

Jaden Philogene-Bidace (AVL)

After scoring and providing an assist in a 2-2 draw at Burnley, Philogene-Bidace was on target once more as Villa recorded a 2-0 win at Stoke City, their fourth Division 2 victory of 2020/21. He has netted four goals in the PL2 campaign.

Arnau Puigmal (MUN)

The 19-year-old midfielder kicked off the month with a goal and two assists in Manchester United's 5-2 win at Brighton & Hove Albion. He then featured in an EFL Trophy defeat at Morecambe before scoring twice in a Division 1 success over Tottenham Hotspur.

Jean-Pierre Tiehi (FUL)

Eighteen-year-old forward Tiehi produced three goals in three Division 2 matches for Fulham. He found the net in a 2-1 defeat at Burnley and then scored twice to help his side claim a 3-2 victory at Aston Villa.
