The Scout is highlighting the form players in Fantasy Premier League and making key tactical observations during pre-season.

Zaha flourishing in central role

A role up front has helped Wilfried Zaha (£7.0m) prove a key influence on Crystal Palace’s unbeaten four-match run over the summer.

The Ivory Coast international produced attacking returns in each of those contests, totalling three goals and two assists.

Zaha goals in pre-season

Listed as a midfielder in FPL, Zaha hands Fantasy managers a tempting “out-of-position” prospect if he continues to play as a forward.

And Palace’s schedule from Gameweek 5 suggests he can emerge as an early target.

Five of their seven matches from that point score just two in the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR).

Mitchell only a short-term option?

At the back, cut-price defender Tyrick Mitchell (£4.0m) has started the last three matches at left-back for Palace.

Although Mitchell is favourite to begin the season, his 8.0 per cent owners should be aware that first-choice left-back, Patrick van Aanholt (£5.5m), has returned to training following a shoulder dislocation.
