AFC Bournemouth goalkeeper Mark Travers made the headlines when he marked his Premier League debut in May last year with a clean sheet and 1-0 win against Tottenham Hotspur.
It was the club's first-ever victory against Spurs, and at the age of 19 years, 351 days, Travers was the 15th youngest player to appear in the Premier League.
His achievement brought him a lot of attention, especially on social media, and Travers has stressed the importance of using it in a balanced way.
"These days everyone's on social media" he says. "There are people with fake profiles just trying to have a go at you. You've just got to remember whose opinion is important."
And rather than be upset about something you might read, or an issue that is bothering you, it's better to try and share those feelings agrees team-mate Aaron Ramsdale.
"We've just got to get people confident and comfortable [knowing] it's not a weakness, it's not cowardice," he adds. "If you speak to someone it's only going to benefit yourself."
Travers and Ramsdale were speaking as part of the Premier League's Heads Up campaign in February 2020, dedicated to raising awareness and encouraging conversation around mental health.
