Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has made history after winning the February Coca-Cola Save of the Month award for his last-gasp save in the Toffees’ 3-2 win away to Newcastle United.
Having already come from behind twice in the match, Newcastle appeared set to make it 3-3 in the fourth minute of stoppage time when Sandro Tonali connected sweetly with a volley.
However, the Italian was denied by a stunning intervention from Pickford, who reacted brilliantly to push the ball onto the crossbar and out for a corner - before celebrating in typically passionate fashion.

“It's a worldie!” Pickford said on Everton's website after receiving the award. “You put in hard work on the training ground and enjoy moments like that.
“Tonali’s hit it as best as he could. I think he's even come out and said that.
“It was a massive game. I'll always take the three points and if I can help the team to get a result and be called upon, that's what I'm there to do. But yeah, it was a great save.”
With previous wins in September 2022, January 2024 and November 2025, Pickford has now claimed the award more times than any other 'keeper, surpassing Andre Onana and David Raya, who have each won it three times.
