Football writer Adrian Clarke looks at the players who have clocked the fastest speeds in the 2025/26 Premier League season so far.
Wolverhampton Wanderers wing-back Jackson Tchatchoua has registered the two fastest sprints of the season so far.
The 24-year-old Cameroonian was clocked at an impressive 36.97km/h against Crystal Palace in Matchweek 27, but nobody has come close to eclipsing his electric top speed of 37.30km/h against Everton in the third weekend of the season.
That is the third-fastest speed that has been recorded in Premier League history.

It is wide players who dominate the top 10 list as it stands.
Full-backs Destiny Udogie and Jeremie Frimpong are ranked third and eighth respectively, with the remaining quickest players all wingers by trade.
Newcastle United are the only top-flight club with two players among the Premier League’s elite when it comes to speed.
It is little wonder Anthony Elanga and Anthony Gordon help to make Eddie Howe’s side such a potent threat from breakaways.
Who is each team’s fastest player?
Outside of the eight clubs represented inside the top 10, nobody else has a player who has breached the 36.00km/h barrier yet.
Manchester City’s Nico O’Reilly, registering a rapid 35.98km/h against Newcastle in November, has come the closest.
