The Swede tops our fan poll following his performance in the north London derby

Arsenal's Viktor Gyokeres has been voted Player of the Matchweek for Matchweek 27.

The Swede produced a superb centre-forward's display for Arsenal against north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur, scoring twice in their 4-1 victory.

Gyokeres restored the Gunners' lead two minutes into the second half, with a thunderous right-footed strike into the top-right corner.

He then wrapped up the scoring in the fourth minute of stoppage time to take his tally of Premier League goals this season to 10.

Gyokeres becomes the fourth Arsenal player to claim the accolade this season, after Eberechi Eze in Matchweek 12, Leandro Trossard in Matchweek 19 and Declan Rice in Matchweek 20.

Gyokeres picked up 35 per cent of the fan vote for Matchweek 27, while his closest challenger, Manchester City's Nico O'Reilly, had 22 per cent.

The other nominees were Arsenal midfielder Eze (20 per cent), Leeds United's Anton Stach (nine per cent), Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder James Milner (six per cent), Crystal Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson (five per cent) and Fulham forward Raul Jimenez (three per cent).
