Each participant was nominated by their club in recognition of their leadership qualities and personal strengths, reflecting the programme’s commitment to supporting individuals who show character and promise both on and off the pitch.

Premier League Futures is a 12 month development initiative open to current and former Academy players aged 18 to 24 across the men’s and women’s game. It is designed to support personal and professional growth, helping participants prepare for life and careers after youth football.

The programme focuses on career planning beyond playing, developing leadership skills, encouraging personal growth, and promoting inclusivity and diversity across the wider sports industry.

During their time in Vancouver, the group toured EA’s headquarters, took part in a PlayTest Lab session, and joined an interactive workshop that offered a behind the scenes insight into the development of EA SPORTS FC.

They learned about the variety of roles involved in game design, production, marketing and operations, gaining practical exposure to the collaboration and expertise required to deliver a global title.

Premier League Futures continues to provide meaningful experiences that equip and inspire young players to explore opportunities beyond the pitch, ensuring they feel supported throughout every stage of their journey.
