Brighton v Crystal Palace predicted line-ups

Brighton: Yasin Ayari will miss out with a shoulder issue, but Diego Gomez is available after missing out last weekend. Yankuba Minteh has been used sparingly of late as he overcomes physical ailments, so Gomez looks most likely to take Ayari’s place in the only change from the draw against Everton.

Crystal Palace: Jean-Philippe Mateta has been ruled out of Crystal Palace’s next two matches after a move to AC Milan was scuppered by a knee injury. That paves the way for Jorgen Strand Larsen to start on debut following his move from Wolves. Daichi Kamada is back from injury, but may begin on the bench after almost two months out, while Adam Wharton should make an immediate return from suspension. Yeremy Pino, Brennan Johnson and new signing Evann Guessand look to be fighting for one spot.

Liverpool v Man City predicted line-ups

Liverpool: Joe Gomez might play some part on his return from injury, but is not fit to start, leaving Dominik Szoboszlai most likely to fill in again at right-back. Last weekend’s comprehensive victory over Newcastle suggested few changes are required. Curtis Jones could potentially be brought in if Arne Slot feels the need to freshen things up.

Man City: Ruben Dias could return after injury but, after leaving him unused on the bench during EFL Cup action in midweek, Pep Guardiola must decide whether to throw him into the starting line-up. Bernardo Silva requires a late fitness test to determine his availability. If he misses out, a Premier League recall for Phil Foden could be on the cards, while Omar Marmoush is pushing for a spot after scoring twice in midweek.
