Brighton v Everton predicted line-ups

Brighton: Diego Gomez is Brighton’s only new injury concern after developing a "small issue" in training. His potential absence could lead to recalls for Yankuba Minteh or Georginio Rutter, while Brighton reportedly rejected a bid for Yasin Ayari this week.

Everton: The return of Jarrad Branthwaite from long-term injury and Michael Keane from suspension gives David Moyes a happy headache in defence. Higher up the pitch, Jack Grealish looks likely to miss the remainder of the season.

Leeds v Arsenal predicted line-ups

Leeds: Daniel Farke confirmed there is a slim chance Gabriel Gudmundsson could be rushed back after injury, but recent results have been positive so there appears little need. Sean Longstaff should get more minutes on his return from a calf injury, while Noah Okafor offers another attacking option.

Arsenal: Mikel Arteta has suggested William Saliba and Jurrien Timber should be fit after sitting out in midweek. Kai Havertz and Riccardo Calafiori returned to the starting line-up for that UEFA Champions League win, so may be rotated out for this trip to Leeds, while Gabriel Jesus will challenge Viktor Gyokeres up front.

Wolves v Bournemouth predicted line-ups

Wolves: Rob Edwards has confirmed Jorgen Strand Larsen will be in the squad despite transfer interest, with Jose Sa also available amid departure links. Ladislav Krejci is battling illness, while Jean-Ricner Bellegarde is likely to return on the bench after a long injury absence.

Bournemouth: Alex Jimenez’s impressive performance against Liverpool could see him stay higher up the pitch. New Brazilian forward Rayan is highly unlikely to be thrown straight into the starting XI after joining the club this week.

Chelsea v West Ham predicted line-ups

Chelsea: Expect Liam Rosenior to continue to rotate, after stating in midweek that he has “22 outstanding players” at his disposal. Cole Palmer is fit to start after impressing off the bench in midweek. Brazilian duo Estevao and Andrey Santos may well come in for a rest after starting both Chelsea matches over the past week.

West Ham: After successive victories, Nuno Espirito Santo is unlikely to be tempted into major changes, with new signing Adama Traore perhaps poised to begin his West Ham career on the bench. El Hadji Malick Diouf may be recalled in place of Ollie Scarles.

Liverpool v Newcastle predicted line-ups

Liverpool: Liverpool face a defensive dilemma. Injuries to Jeremie Frimpong, Conor Bradley and Joe Gomez leave a hole at right-back, which any number of midfielders might fill. Meanwhile, Ibrahima Konate is not a guaranteed starter on his return from compassionate leave.

Newcastle: The big question is whether Eddie Howe sticks with a three-man defence or reverts to four at the back. That will influence much of his team selection, while Howe stated it is uncertain if captain Bruno Guimaraes is deemed fit enough to start after remaining on the bench in midweek.

Aston Villa v Brentford predicted line-ups

Aston Villa: A host of injury concerns could see immediate starts for new signings Douglas Luiz and Tammy Abraham, the latter appearing to be the most likely candidate to replace Ollie Watkins if he is ruled out after hobbling off injured on Thursday night.

Brentford: Mikkel Damsgaard and Kristoffer Ajer both went off injured during Brentford’s last match. They could return straight away, but Keith Andrews has suggested they may need to skip the Villa trip, opening the door for Sepp van den Berg and Dango Ouattara to start.

Man Utd v Fulham predicted line-ups

Man Utd: Michael Carrick has picked the same starting XI for both of his games in charge so far, securing two wins in the process. There appears little reason for many changes then, although Patrick Dorgu has been ruled out, opening the door for Matheus Cunha to start.

Fulham: Marco Silva suggested this weekend is “probably too soon” for Oscar Bobb to make his Fulham debut after signing from Man City. Kenny Tete should be available after a hamstring problem, while Samuel Chukwueze must decide whether to play or take compassionate leave. Silva might also opt to field a back three at Old Trafford.

Nottingham Forest v Crystal Palace predicted line-ups

Forest: Igor Jesus chose a good time to score twice in midweek, with Napoli loanee striker Lorenzo Lucca available for the first time this weekend. James McAtee and Dan Ndoye impressed in that UEFA Europa League win, but will likely return to bench duties.

Palace: Oliver Glasner confirmed Jean-Philippe Mateta will not be involved due to the distraction of transfer speculation, leaving Brennan Johnson or Christantus Uche as options upfront. Adam Wharton is suspended, Justin Devenny injured and Daichi Kamada a week away from returning.

Spurs v Man City predicted line-ups

Spurs: Thomas Frank has a few decisions to make. Micky van de Ven’s quest to overcome the minor problem that ruled him out of midweek action may well influence whether to stick with three at the back or revert to four. Archie Gray and Randal Kolo Muani impressed in that UEFA Champions League win, while Mathys Tel provides another attacking option.

Man City: With Jeremy Doku expected to be out for a few weeks, Phil Foden could earn a recall having not started either of City’s last two matches in all competitions. Otherwise, Pep Guardiola may persist with the same midfield quintet from last week’s win against Wolves.

Sunderland v Burnley predicted line-ups

Sunderland: Regis Le Bris is still trying to find a way to replace the injured Granit Xhaka. Following surgery and international duties, Habib Diarra should be fit to make his first start since September. Trai Hume struggled up the pitch in defeat at West Ham and could lose his spot.

See: Sunderland team news

Burnley: Lyle Foster is pushing for a recall after scoring last weekend, Zian Flemming is available following injury, and James Ward-Prowse should make the squad having signed on loan from West Ham, but three successive draws suggest few – if any – changes.
