Gameweek 23 marks the third week of the new series: "Archetypes". This weekend's FPL Challenge is called "The Ball-Carrier", as every successful dribble earn two extra points.
There is a limit of one player per club for your 6-a-side team, but there is an unlimited budget. Here, FPL expert Tom Johnson reveals his team and explains his thinking, to help you pick your own line-up.
Pick your GW23 Challenge team NOW
Goalkeeper
Jordan Pickford (Everton)
For context, only eight goalkeepers have registered a successful dribble so far this season, and only Gianluigi Donnarumma can boast more than one.
Consequently, I've selected my goalkeeper based on clean sheet and save-point potential, with any successful dribble a welcome bonus. Pickford is the first goalkeeper to hit the 100-point mark in 2025/26 Fantasy.
A home fixture against Leeds United gives Everton the chance to continue their impressive defensive form. The Toffees have kept seven clean sheets across their last 12 matches, with Pickford averaging over five points per match in that time.
Defender
Michael Kayode (Brentford)
When researching the best players for successful dribbles, one defender stood out, Brentford's Kayode. The Bees' full-back has managed 31, the most in his position.
Aside from his dribbling abilities, Kayode offers all-round points potential. Keith Andrews' side have a strong chance of a clean sheet at home to struggling Nottingham Forest.
Brentford have shut out their opponents (Sunderland and Tottenham Hotspur) in their last two home matches, while Kayode also has the potential to pick up the odd assist or defensive contribution points.

Midfielders
Bukayo Saka (Arsenal)
Arsenal winger Saka sits fourth in the successful dribbles chart, with 35 in 16 starts ahead of a home match against Manchester United.
The Englishman is incredibly consistent, having produced attacking returns in five of his last seven starts.
Saka also has penalty duties in his locker, making him the ideal captaincy pick for this week's challenge.
Jeremy Doku (Man City)
No player has registered more successful dribbles than Doku's tally of 61 this season. The Belgium international has notched nine more than any player, despite having only started 13 matches.
Dribbles aside, Doku has offers good attacking threat, especially for assists. Only three players have notched more than his seven. Manchester City host a Wolverhampton Wanderers side that are yet to keep a clean sheet away from home.
Fantasy Challenge allows managers to change their team after seeing the confirmed line-ups. Should Doku not start, Antoine Semenyo, who has already scored twice for his new club and was ineligible to feature in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, meaning he's well rested for this weekend, is an alternative option.
Forwards
Hugo Ekitike (Liverpool)
Based on AFC Bournemouth's defensive data, a Liverpool attacker is a strong option in Gameweek 23. The Cherries have shipped 17 goals across their last seven matches and have kept just one clean sheet since Gameweek 9.
When it comes to successful dribbles, Ekitike has posted an impressive 26 in just 14 starts, including three in the Reds' last match against Burnley.
In the reverse fixture, Ekitike scored and assisted on his Premier League debut and is impressively averaging an attacking return every 122 minutes this season.
Jarrod Bowen (West Ham)
Despite being classified as a forward in Fantasy, Bowen tends to start on the right wing for West Ham United, increasing the likelihood of him notching successful dribbles. He has registered 31 this season, more than any other forward.
A home match against Sunderland should provide Bowen with a chance to construct a big haul. Encouragingly, each time the Hammers' talisman has scored, he has claimed at least two bonus points.
Bowen's positioning also lends itself to picking up defensive contribution points. The England international is the only forward to hit the threshold on multiple occasions, having done so twice over the last three Gameweeks.
