Manchester United got off to a flying start under new head coach Michael Carrick by beating Manchester City 2-0 on Saturday to climb to fifth in the Premier League table.
Man Utd dominated their Manchester rivals at Old Trafford, winning comfortable thanks to goals from Bryan Mbeumo and Patrick Dorgu, and climbing above Chelsea in the process. United are now five matches unbeaten in the league and looking up.

Carrick, who was previously interim manager of Man Utd back in 2021, has now taken charge of four matches for the club, winning three and drawing one, and beating some top managers in the process.
