The Scout's FPL Gameweek 19 transfer radar

See the four players being backed to score big in the upcoming matches

The Scout is tipping four players for big success in Gameweek 19 of 2025/26 Fantasy Premier League ahead of Tuesday's 18:00 GMT deadline, to help managers gain an edge over their mini-league rivals.

Joao Pedro (Chelsea) £7.2m

Chelsea’s Brazilian forward has stepped up his output ahead of a favourable home encounter with AFC Bournemouth.

Joao Pedro ended a run of five consecutive blanks with back-to-back goals against Newcastle United and Aston Villa over the last two Gameweeks.

As shown by Brentford’s 4-1 win over Bournemouth last weekend, picking attackers who play at home to the Cherries could be a wise tactic in Fantasy.

Indeed, in away matches this season, Bournemouth have conceded a league-high 27 goals over just nine contests.

With Chelsea's chief creator Cole Palmer (£10.4m) back in the side following a spell out with injury, although he will be assessed ahead of Tuesday evening, Joao Pedro looks well-placed to extend his recent upturn in form.

Bruno Guimaraes (Newcastle) £7.0m

The Newcastle midfielder will be hoping history repeats itself when the Magpies visit Burnley on Tuesday evening.

Guimaraes scored and earned 10 points in the reverse fixture as recently as Gameweek 15 to claim his fourth double-figure haul of 2025/26 Fantasy.

If you’re thinking of buying the Brazilian, it’s worth noting he is on four yellow cards and would serve a one-match ban if he is booked against the Clarets.

Should Guimaraes avoid another caution, the threat of suspension would no longer hang over him as the threshold is then extended to 10 yellow cards from Gameweek 20 onwards.

In addition to their match against Burnley, Newcastle host struggling Crystal Palace before a pair of very favourable contests versus Leeds United and Wolverhampton Wanderers over Gameweeks 21-22.

Gabriel (Arsenal) £6.2m

Arsenal’s Brazilian is pushing for his first start since Gameweek 11 after marking his return from injury with an appearance off the bench against Brighton & Hove Albion last weekend.

Gabriel was the standout defender in Fantasy prior to his lay-off due to his many routes to returns.

He had blanked in only three of his first 11 outings, combining a goal and two assists with seven clean sheets, eight defensive contribution points and 13 bonus points.

His total of 81 points after 11 Gameweeks was 14 more than any other defender and second only to the 102 of Erling Haaland (£15.1m).

While Arsenal’s home match against Aston Villa is perhaps not the easiest, there's no doubt that Gabriel’s return looks good news for their prospects of defensive returns.

Mikel Arteta’s side claimed seven clean sheets across the first 11 Gameweeks, but have since managed only two more in the subsequent seven matches.

A fit-again Gabriel is a fixture-proof big-hitter who can quickly re-establish himself as a must-have for your defence.

Patrick Dorgu (Man Utd) £4.1m

Manchester United’s Dane is the most-bought defender in the Gameweek, brought in by 202,000+ managers after he produced his career-high haul of 17 points last time out.

Dorgu benefited from an advanced role on the right of a 4-2-3-1 formation, with Red Devils head coach Ruben Amorim changing his set-up due to the absences of Bruno Fernandes (£9.1m), Bryan Mbeumo (£8.1m) and Amad (£6.3m).

The 21-year-old scored the decisive goal in the 1-0 win over Newcastle, also collecting a clean sheet, maximum bonus and two defensive contribution points.

At a cost of only £4.1m and playing as an attacking midfielder, Dorgu has the short-term schedule to provide outstanding value in Fantasy.

Man Utd host Wolves on Tuesday evening before back-to-back visits to promoted pair Leeds and Burnley.
