Ruben Amorim has been named the Barclays Manager of the Month for October, winning the award for the first time.
Amorim guided Manchester United to victory in all three of their matches, the first time the club had won three in a row since he took charge in November 2024.

"The credit is not mine, the credit is for my players. They did really well, and our goal is to win the next one [award], because it means we win football matches and that is our goal," Amorim said after winning the award.
Amorim is the first United boss to win the Barclays Manager of the Month award since Erik ten Hag in November 2023.
Man Utd began October with an impressive 2-0 win over high-flying Sunderland and followed that up with a dramatic 2-1 success at fierce rivals Liverpool, winning at Anfield for the first time in nearly 10 years.
United ended the month with a 4-2 home victory against Brighton & Hove Albion, which sent them, temporarily, into the top four.
Amorim becomes just the sixth Portuguese head coach to take the monthly honour, following Nuno Espirito Santo, Jose Mourinho, Andre Villas-Boas, Bruno Lage and most recently Vitor Pereira with Wolverhampton Wanderers in April 2025.

It also makes it an October awards double for Man Utd after Bryan Mbeumo claimed the EA SPORTS Player of the Month award.
It is the first time they have won at least two monthly awards since November 2023, when Harry Maguire, Ten Hag and Alejandro Garnacho claimed the Player of the Month, Manager of the Month and Goal of the Month awards respectively.
Amorim topped a four-man shortlist also featuring Mikel Arteta (Arsenal), Unai Emery (Aston Villa) and Andoni Iraola (AFC Bournemouth) after votes from fans were combined with those of a panel of experts.
