Stoke's 19-year-old striker claims award after scoring five goals and providing an assist last month

Stoke City striker Emre Tezgel has been named Premier League 2 (PL2) Player of the Month for March.

The 19-year-old forward was in sensational form throughout the month, scoring five goals and providing an assist as Stoke enjoyed an unbeaten March.

Tezgel's impressive month began with a late equaliser from the penalty spot at home to Aston Villa in a 1-1 draw.

He followed that up with a stunning performance against Derby County in which he was involved in all five goals as Stoke won a thrilling match 5-3.

Having created the opener for Ryan Mmaee, Tezgel then scored the first of his four goals in the opening half, following up after the break with a hat-trick, including another penalty.
