With as many as 30,000 people trying to get to Molineux Stadium on a matchday, we are very conscious of the impact on the environment and our neighbours.

When making your journey to Molineux Stadium we ask you, wherever possible, to consider travel options that will help us to reduce local traffic jams and inconsiderate parking around the stadium. 

Arriving at Molineux Stadium by Public Transport

National Rail

Wolverhampton Railway Station [WVH]

Railway Dr, West Midlands, Wolverhampton WV1 1LE

Wolverhampton Railway Station is around a 15 minute walk away from Molineux. From the main station entrance proceed straight on towards the city centre and as you reach the inner ring road turn right. Just follow the ring road as it continues in a circular pattern around to the left. Eventually you will see the Molineux on the right.

Arriving at Molineux Stadium by Car

From the North: Exit M6 at junction 12. At the island take the 3rd exit onto the A5 for Wolverhampton. At the next island turn left onto the A449. After six miles the A449 passes under the M54. Carry straight on and at the 6th island (Five Ways) take the 3rd exit onto Waterloo Road. Molineux is one mile straight on.

From the South West: Exit M5 at junction 2. Follow the signs for Wolverhampton on the A4123 for eight miles to the Ring Road. Turn left on to the Ring Road, following signs for Molineux. Take the 2nd exit at the next two islands, pass Banks’ Brewery and swimming baths on the left and then turn left at the next set of traffic lights. Molineux is 500 yards on the right.

From the South East: Exit the M6 at junction 10. Take the A454 via Willenhall to Wolverhampton Ring Road. At the first Ring Road Island take the 4th exit (A449 to Stafford). Straight on at the next two sets of traffic lights. Filter right at the third set of lights into Waterloo Road. Molineux is 500 yards on the right.

Away Stand

The away supporters section of Molineux Stadium is located in the Steve Bull Stand. This section is clearly signposted around the stadium but please speak with our stewarding team if you need assistance in finding your way. Sometimes, away fans are located in the Stan Cullis Quadrant. Please check your match ticket to confirm the exact area.

Stadium Entry

Access to the Stadium is via electronic turnstiles and your ticket will display a barcode to gain you access to the Stadium, there are Stewards on hand to help should you have any problems. The turnstiles will open 90 mins before kick off.

Molineux Stadium is an English football stadium situated in Wolverhampton, West Midlands. It has been the home ground of Wolverhampton Wanderers since 1889 and was the first stadium ever built for use by a Football League club. It was one of the first British grounds to have floodlights installed and it hosted some of the earliest European Cup matches in the 1950s.
