The Scout's panel of Fantasy Premier League experts give their thoughts on how to capitalise on Double Gameweek 34 (DGW34) ahead of the deadline at 13:30 BST on Saturday 20 April.

Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily)

When you aren't playing a Free Hit chip, you need to think carefully about your moves to allow you to exploit the Double but also to manage the Gameweeks to come. I am already tripled up on Arsenal, and that feels important, even after their setback against Aston Villa. I own Darwin Nunez (£7.7m) and Mohamed Salah (£13.5m) and they are likely to be my only two Liverpool players, as I don't want to sell the likes of Cole Palmer (£6.2m) or Son Heung-min (£9.9m), who I will need to immediately buy back for their Double Gameweek 35. Hopefully Rayan Ait-Nouri (£4.8m) is back from injury, and I'll be adding Crystal Palace's Jean-Philippe Mateta (£5.0m) to my squad in place of Rodrigo Muniz (£4.6m), who only plays once.

Nick Harris (@WGTA_Nick)

The likes of Bukayo Saka (£9.0m), Salah and Luis Diaz (£7.7m) feel like key picks for DGW34. From teams outside the top four, I would also consider Eberechi Eze (£6.1m) as an excellent differential option, particularly after his goal last weekend. The only player I am considering that doesn't have a Double Gameweek is Erling Haaland (£14.3m). His goal threat feels too big to ignore.

Lee Bonfield (@FPLFamily)

Double Gameweeks are an opportunity for FPL managers. With potentially double the minutes for players, there is the potential for big returns. I am Wildcarding straight after DGW34, so one-week punts will be on the cards. I'll likely sell Phil Foden (£8.2m) to allow me to target players like Eze. A word of warning though: the single Gameweekers often outperform those who play twice. I will be choosing between Haaland and Palmer in my team, as my other 10 players all play twice. Benching one of them feels very uncomfortable.

Holly Shand (@HollyShand)

The key focus for the Double Gameweek is players from Arsenal and Liverpool, who need to hunt down Manchester City in their quest for the title. Given recent results, I prefer tripling up on their attacks rather than defence. Saka and Kai Havertz (£7.4m) would be my choice from the Gunners, while Salah and Diaz carry the most potential for Liverpool.

Gianni Buttice (@GianniButtice)

Arsenal and Liverpool both losing and failing to score in Gameweek 33 should not put you off their assets this week. Both are elite attacks with good-looking Double Gameweeks. Stocking up on their midfielders in particular could come with high rewards. Havertz, Diaz and Diogo Jota (£7.9m) are all nice differential options.

Mark McGettigan (@FPLGeneral)

The priority for DGW34 is to load up on as many picks as possible from Arsenal and Liverpool. The triple-ups in my Free Hit team are currently Gabriel (£5.4m), Saka and Havertz from Arsenal and Virgil van Dijk (£6.6m), Salah and Diaz from Liverpool. Palace midfielder Eze is a good option this week. Haaland is likely to be my only single Gameweeker.

Az Phillips (@FPLBlackBox_Az)

Loading up on Arsenal, despite their defeat to Villa, looks the most sensible play. To really attack the Double Gameweek, pair Saka with Martin Odegaard (£8.6m), if he's fit, or Havertz and hope for a goal bonanza. Liverpool are trickier to predict. Assuming you have Salah, perhaps ignoring popular but rotation-risk assets such as Diaz or Nunez for a punt on a returning Trent Alexander-Arnold (£8.4m) may be a shrewd move. Elsewhere. Palace have two home games against leaky defences and have an abundance of options, with two attacking wing-backs, the returning Michael Olise (£5.6m) and talisman Eze all strong options.
