Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that Hugo Lloris has left to move to MLS side Los Angeles FC after 11 years at the club.

The France goalkeeper played in 447 matches in all competitions, ranking in Spurs' top 10 all-time appearance makers.

He signed for Spurs in the summer of 2012 from Olympique Lyonnais.

After becoming Spurs’ No 1, Lloris assumed the captaincy in 2015/16 and led Spurs to successive Champions League qualification spots and cup finals.

Lloris established himself as one of the top Premier League 'keepers and enjoyed a fruitful spell in the competition, making 361 appearances and recording 127 clean sheets, the most for any Spurs 'keeper in the competition.

He won the FIFA 2018 World Cup with France, making him the first Spurs player to lift the trophy.

The following season he helped Spurs reach their first Champions League final.

Spurs fans will be able to express their appreciation for Lloris when he appears during half-time of Sunday’s match against AFC Bournemouth at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
