With international matches continuing at the start of the week and the Premier League returning this weekend, there is plenty to look out for over the coming days.

International action
Euro 2024 qualifying

European nations will continue their qualification campaigns for next summer's UEFA Euro 2024 tournament in Germany, with plenty of Premier League players in action on Monday and Tuesday.

Euro Under-21 2025 qualifying

Fresh from winning this summer's UEFA European Under-21 Championship, England will begin the defence of their title against Luxembourg on Monday.

Africa Cup of Nations qualifying

The Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) returns this season, with Ivory Coast hosting the tournament in January and February 2024.

The last round of qualifying matches continue on Monday and Tuesday, with Cameroon and Man Utd goalkeeper Andre Onana among the Premier League stars involved.

CONCACAF Nations League

Michail Antonio will be representing Jamaica in the CONCACAF Nations League, with his side facing Haiti on Wednesday.

Friendly matches

Some European nations are in friendly action, with England facing Scotland on Tuesday, while Germany take on France.

Premier League returns
Match officials revealed

At 10:00 BST on Tuesday, the match officials will be revealed for all 10 Premier League matches taking place this weekend.

Press conferences

Managers from all 20 Premier League clubs will face the media on Thursday or Friday ahead of the return of the Premier League this weekend, providing the latest injury and fitness news after many players have been away on international duty. 

Premier League monthly awards

Winners for the EA SPORTS Player of the Month, Barclays Manager of the Month, Budweiser Goal of the Month, Castrol Save of the Month and Premier League 2 Player of the Month will be announced on Friday from 10:00 BST.

Fantasy Premier League deadline

Gameweek 5 will see the first Saturday FPL deadline of the season, at 11:00 BST. With over 200,000 Wildcards active, be sure to make all your changes in time.

Premier League action resumes

Matchweek 5 gets under way on Saturday as Wolverhampton Wanderers host Liverpool in the early kick-off, with the Reds hoping to avenge last season's 3-0 defeat in this fixture and knowing a win would take them top of the table.

Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are all in action as five matches take place at 15:00 BST, before Brentford visit Newcastle United at 17:30 BST, with the Bees bidding to maintain their unbeaten start to the season.

On Sunday, AFC Bournemouth will be looking to pick up their first win of the campaign when they entertain Chelsea, before Arsenal travel to Everton, seeking their first win at Goodison Park since October 2017.
