Six clubs given a Double Gameweek 34 in FPL

The Scout looks at each outfield position in Fantasy Premier League to identify the Double Gameweek 29 players who have boasted the most attacking threat recently.

In order to qualify for analysis, each player must have made all of his last four appearances in the previous six Gameweeks.

Midfielders

Leicester City’s James Maddison (£8.2m) has proven a huge all-round threat ahead of his Double Gameweek 29 against Crystal Palace and Aston Villa.

The playmaker has been involved in 26 shots over his last four matches, creating 13 and taking a further 13 of his own.

Although he managed only one assist in that period, Maddison is set to embark on an extended run of favourable opponents that suggests he will be a key figure in Fantasy line-ups.

According to the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR), eight of Leicester’s next nine matches score only two.

Bruno Fernandes (£9.6m), meanwhile, has been a major influence on the Manchester United attack.

The Portuguese’s 14 chances created in his last four matches were more than any other midfielder, while he also produced 11 shots.

Indeed, Fernandes’ seven shots in the box almost match the nine of Marcus Rashford (£7.3m), who made a single key pass in his last four matches.

This suggests doubling up on the Man Utd pair for their fixtures against Newcastle United and Brentford could pay off handsomely.

Invest in Brighton

Brighton & Hove Albion supply four players in the analysis, more than any other Double Gameweek 29 side.

Alexis Mac Allister’s (£5.5m) goal threat has been particularly potent thanks to his new role as a No 10.

The Argentinian’s 15 shots and 10 shots in the box in the last four Gameweeks both placed second among all midfielders in Fantasy.

An ownership of under seven per cent makes him a huge differential against Brentford and AFC Bournemouth

By contrast, Seagulls wingers Solly March (£5.1m) and Kaoru Mitoma (£5.5m) managed a combined 11 shots in the box.

The popular Mitoma has remained a consistent source of returns, nonetheless, rewarding his 22 per cent ownership with a goal and three assists.

Strong assets at the bottom

West Ham United and Leeds United also offer FPL managers in-form value picks.

The Hammers’ Said Benrahma (£5.5m) has a goal and two assists in his last three ahead of two home matches against Southampton and Newcastle United

His seven shots in the box and six key passes in his side’s last four fixtures are identical to his more expensive team-mate Jarrod Bowen (£8.0m).

Leeds winger Jack Harrison (£5.7m) is thriving under head coach Javi Gracia, with two goals and two assists in his last four.

He faces Nottingham Forest, Crystal Palace and Fulham in the next four Gameweeks.
