Fantasy Premier League managers can get exclusive tips and updates for their team thanks to @OfficialFPL’s virtual FPL assistant.
Available via Messenger, the automated bot service can be accessed through @OfficialFPL on Meta's Messenger app and Facebook’s desktop or mobile app.
Users who access their Premier League account via Facebook login can also connect via their PL account page when logging in.
Tailored for all
A short welcome journey greets users, giving FPL managers the option to link their Fantasy Premier League account to the Messenger bot. In the future, this will allow the virtual FPL assistant to provide tips according to the manager's specific team selections.
Currently, the virtual FPL assistant is tailored according to the user’s chosen experience level with FPL, offering Novice and Experienced routes.
Users can opt in to receive exclusive weekly tips throughout 2023/24. Follow the short welcome journey to access or select "Weekly tips" in the main menu.
The virtual FPL assistant can also provide a deadline reminder for the upcoming Gameweek, sending a timely notification to update teams.
Like accessing "Weekly tips", users can get deadline reminders by following the short welcome journey or by selecting "Deadline reminders" in the main menu. This will be especially useful when the festive fixtures land and the deadlines come thick and fast.
Users can ask questions to the virtual FPL assistant, although responses are currently limited. However, we are constantly updating the chat bot thanks to questions and comments being typed in.
