A second Wildcard chip will become available to Fantasy Premier League managers following Friday's 7pm GMT Gameweek 19 deadline.

Once available, this second Wildcard can be played at any time up until the deadline for Gameweek 38 at 2pm BST on 21 May.

This also means that managers who have yet to play the current Wildcard have until Friday's deadline to put the first chip to use before it expires.

The current Wildcard cannot be carried over to the second half of the season and will expire if not used

The first Wildcard cannot be carried over into the second half of the season and therefore must be activated before Friday at 7pm GMT or it is lost.

FPL managers can play the Wildcard chip when confirming transfers that cost points and it cannot be cancelled once played.

With a Wildcard active, all transfers (including those already made) in the Gameweek are free of charge.
