Son Heung-min says his incredible 2019/20 Budweiser Goal of the Season was made all the more special because his parents were there to witness it.
Son's magnificent individual effort in a 5-0 home win against Burnley in December was voted the best scored in the last campaign, topping a nine-goal shortlist that featured each of the monthly winners.
For the award-winning goal, Son ran through the Clarets defence from the edge of his own penalty area before slotting past goalkeeper Nick Pope at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
And among the crowd that day were the South Korean's parents.
"Luckily I scored this beautiful goal at home with a full stadium and even my parents were there as well, so it was unbelievable," said Son after being presented with his prize.
"To score this goal made me so, so proud and happy.
"When I look back at this game and goal it's just an amazing feeling, it's a big honour for me."
