WHO'S GOING TO BE YOUR

MAN OF THE MATCH?

Burnley comeback boosts their bid for safety

Burnley came from behind to draw 1-1 at Crystal Palace and go three matches unbeaten, boosting their hopes of avoiding relegation.

Palace led after only nine minutes as Michael Olise's sumptuous low cross from the right was poked in by Jeffrey Schlupp.

Olise was his side’s most dangerous player, going close with a free-kick, then firing just over before forcing Nick Pope into action.

Burnley equalised early in the second half, Aaron Lennon's low cross steered into his own net by Luka Milivojevic.

Wout Weghorst nearly completed a Burnley turnaround, but saw his header brilliantly tipped over by Jack Butland.

At the other end, Wilfried Zaha twice went close, forcing a save from Pope and then hitting a post within a matter of seconds.

Burnley are 18th with 21 points, a point behind Everton, while Palace are 11th with 30 points.
