West Bromwich Albion produced a first-class defensive display to deny Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial missed chances before the break, while after half-time, Darren Fletcher scuffed a close-range effort for the visitors before Marouane Fellaini missed from six yards for United.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan forced a fine save from Ben Foster and Rashford's powerful 30-yard effort was also well saved.
Wayne Rooney came on but could not make the difference as Fletcher’s shot was deflected on to the crossbar by David De Gea.
Foster shone again to thwart Rashford's free-kick as West Brom held on for a point.
