An 87th-minute goal from Jack Roles earned Tottenham Hotspur their second Premier League 2 victory in succession as they moved up to seventh place with a 1-0 Division 1 win over Leicester City

Spurs goalkeeper Brandon Austin had been in inspired form to keep the match goalless, and Roles rewarded the home side's efforts at Hotspur Way, when he exchanged passes with Kazaiah Sterling and finished from close range.

Before the winner, Leicester's first-team midfielder Andy King hit the post with a diving header, while Roles also struck the woodwork for Spurs.

In the first half Austin saved from former Spurs striker Ryan Loft and the 19-year-old American also kept out substitute Calvin Ughelumba's effort.

Spurs have 11 points and lie behind fourth-placed Leicester on goal difference, three points off top spot.
