A late penalty from captain Callum O'Hare earned Aston Villa a 2-1 win over Middlesbrough to lift them into second place in Division 2.

Dominic Revan had given Villa the lead at the Riverside Stadium, but Stephen Walker levelled on the hour for the home side.

Having won the penalty, O'Hare (pictured) smashed it home with five minutes of normal time remaining to seal a second successive win for Villa.

Villa have nine points, one behind leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers, while Boro are eighth on four points.
