Middlesbrough have announced the signing of Adama Traore from Aston Villa for an undisclosed fee.
The 20-year-old has agreed a four-year deal at the Riverside Stadium and becomes Aitor Karanka's 11th senior recruit of the transfer window.
Traore, who joined Villa from Barcelona, made 10 Premier League appearances in his debut season in England in 2015/16 and Karanka has expressed his delight at bringing in a player he knows well from Spain.
"He is another important player and I am expecting a lot from him,” Boro's head coach told mfc.co.uk. “I’ve known him since he was a kid. He went into the national team just after I left, but I know all about him and what he can do."
