100 club: Les Ferdinand

Les Ferdinand's stunning long-range effort for Queens Park Rangers in 1994 gets the forward's pick for favourite Premier League goal

In the 25 seasons of the Premier League, there have been fantastic displays of skill in every position, but a special group of players hold the accolade of scoring a century of Premier League goals.

With a Premier League career spanning six clubs, 351 appearances and 149 goals, Les Ferdinand was one of the competition's great finishers.

Ferdinand started his Premier League goal tally with Queens Park Rangers in 1992/93 and the forward scored his most memorable top-flight strike in his final season at Loftus Road.

On Sunday 10 December 1994, QPR were close to the relegation zone and faced defending champions Manchester United at Loftus Road.

United won the match 3-2 to keep QPR in danger, but Ferdinand left with the fond memory of a goal of the season contender that gave the home side a shock 1-0 lead in the first half.
