2008: Schwarzer signs for Fulham

Mark Schwarzer's 11-year career with Middlesbrough came to a close after he signed for Fulham.

The Australian international played every match in his first season at Craven Cottage and helped the club finish in seventh place.

He made 172 PL appearances over five seasons for Fulham before spells with Chelsea and Leicester City.

In total, he made 514 Premier League appearances, becoming the first player from outside the UK to play 500 PL matches, and kept 151 clean sheets.

2011: Wolves 2-3 Blackburn Rovers

Wolverhampton Wanderers and Blackburn Rovers both stayed in the Premier League after a thrilling final day, during which five teams were in contention for two relegation places.

Rovers produced an impressive first-half display and were 3-0 ahead at the break with goals from Jason Roberts, Brett Emerton and Junior Hoilett.

Jamie O'Hara pulled a goal back on 73 minutes and with nearest rivals Birmingham City drawing at Tottenham Hotspur, Wolves were still going down.

But Stephen Hunt's superb goal with three minutes left to play put Wolves in the driving seat before a late Spurs winner, and Manchester United's victory over Blackpool, guaranteed their safety.

The three points also meant Rovers stayed up, four points clear of the bottom three.
