New Manchester City signing Claudio Bravo is fit but will not play any part this weekend, Pep Guardiola has confirmed.
Kelechi Iheanacho has survived an injury scare sustained against Steaua Bucharest in midweek, with the hosts having close to a fully-fit squad. Ilkay Gundogan (knee) and Vincent Kompany (thigh) are both expected back early next month while Leroy Sane could make his Premier League debut against the Hammers.
West Ham United will make late deciisons on Dimitri Payet (muscular) and Manuel Lanzini (knee), but captain Mark Noble should be fit to play.
Slaven Bilic has confirmed that Havard Nordtveit is "very likely" to miss out after sustaining a knock to his foot in the UEFA Europa League playoff round on Thursday night. Andre Ayew, Sofiane Feghouli (both thigh), Aaron Cresswell and Andy Carroll (both knee) remain out of contention.
Did you know?
Sergio Aguero has been involved in eight goals in his last seven Premier League matches against West Ham (six goals, two assists).
Aguero is also only the fourth player to score a penalty in each of the first two matchdays of a Premier League season, after Duncan Ferguson in 2001/02, Frank Lampard in 2012/13 and Roberto Soldado in 2013/14. No player has continued the run into matchday three.
West Ham have now scored in 15 successive Premier League matches – the longest such current run in the competition.
Michail Antonio has scored a joint-high seven headed goals in the Premier League since the start of 2015/16 – level with Olivier Giroud.
