Mohamed Salah’s new Fantasy Premier League value of £13.0m is still worth paying for, says a former champion, but only if offset with value elsewhere.
The price of the Liverpool star, who broke the record for FPL points with 303 last season, has jumped £4.0m from his starting price in 2017/18, but he remains a midfielder in the game.
Simon March, who claimed the FPL title in 2014/15, feels that Salah's new price is one worth paying.
“I think I would [spend £13.0m],” March says of the Egyptian.
"You can get slightly hung up on the high-priced players, but if you can offset them against good value in other areas then, maybe, it's not so significant.”
March and fellow FPL experts, Mark Sutherns and Chaz Phillips, analyse in the video above some of the prices revealed, with a collective shock at the cost of David De Gea and a price that makes Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Diogo Jota a must-have for them.
