2002: Ronny Johnsen joins Aston Villa

Graham Taylor signed Ronny Johnsen, who had won the title three times with Manchester United, for Aston Villa on a free transfer.

The Norwegian defender spent two seasons at Villa Park, making 49 Premier League appearances and scoring once, before moving on to Newcastle United in September 2004.

2009: Manchester United 2-1 Arsenal

Arsenal were unable to continue their winning start to the season as they squandered a half-time lead and lost 2-1 at Manchester United.

Andrey Arshavin's strike gave the Gunners a 1-0 advantage at the break, but Wayne Rooney levelled with a 59th-minute penalty and Abou Diaby scored a decisive own goal five minutes later.

Arsenal dropped to sixth place with six points from three matches. Man Utd climbed to third with nine points from four fixtures, leaving them three points behind leaders Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.
