2010: Mousa Dembele joins Fulham

Fulham signed Mousa Dembele from Dutch club AZ Alkmaar.

The Belgian midfielder made a rapid impact, setting up both of the Cottagers' goals in a 2-2 draw at Blackpool in his first Premier League start.

He spent two seasons with Fulham, making 62 PL appearances and scoring five goals, before moving across London to Tottenham Hotspur in August 2012.

2012: Queens Park Rangers 0-5 Swansea City

Swansea City's new signing Michu enjoyed a dream debut, scoring twice in a 5-0 victory at Queens Park Rangers on the opening day of the season.

The Spanish forward broke the deadlock in the eighth minute and then made it 2-0 early in the second half. Nathan Dyer also netted a brace while Scott Sinclair added the fifth goal.

The victory also gave new manager Michael Laudrup the perfect start to his reign at Swansea.

His side jumped to the top of the table alongside Fulham, who also beat Norwich City 5-0, while QPR found themselves at the bottom.
