Pep Guardiola won't be watching Manchester United's match at home to West Bromwich Albion on Sunday, where defeat for United would crown Manchester City the 2017/18 Premier League champions.
The City head coach instead revealed he will be on the golf course.
After City's 3-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, Jose Mourinho's United must claim at least four points at Old Trafford on Sunday and then at AFC Bournemouth on Wednesday to delay their neighbours' celebrations once more.
If United do so, City have the chance again to claim a home victory to become champions when they take on Swansea City on Sunday, 22 April.
That is what Guardiola would prefer to happen.
When asked if he would be watching Man Utd, Guardiola told City's official website: "No, I have a golf game. I have three days off and tomorrow I have golf.
"Golf, my son, friends - tomorrow is golf. I will be happy but I think United will win. We depend on us.
"The important thing is to have the chance to win at home. I am delighted to have the chance to win in front of our people."
