2000: Leeds United 1-2 Aston Villa

Gareth Southgate struck twice as Aston Villa stunned league leaders Leeds United.

Southgate opened the scoring for the visitors and, although Harry Kewell netted a stunning 35-yard equaliser a minute after half-time, Southgate nodded in his second on 62 minutes to make it 2-1.

Leeds remained top with 44 points, one point ahead of Manchester United, who had played two league matches less. Aston Villa's victory moved them up to 10th on 29 points.

2017: AFC Bournemouth 3-3 Arsenal

Arsenal grabbed a dramatic point in stoppage-time after fighting back from 3-0 down to avoid a third successive away defeat.

Goals from Charlie Daniels, Callum Wilson and Ryan Fraser gave AFC Bournemouth a comfortable lead going into the last 20 minutes. But Alexis Sanchez and Lucas Perez scored in the 70th and 75th minutes to give the Gunners hope.

Home captain Simon Francis was then sent off, and Olivier Giroud snatched an equaliser in the 92nd minute.

The point meant Arsenal stayed in fourth with 41 points, but Tottenham Hotspur were close behind with a match in hand. AFC Bournemouth climbed into ninth place with 25 points.
