Stoke City must win their final group match at Bristol City to have a chance of qualifying for the last 16, after a 1-0 defeat at Charlton Athletic.

Reeco Hackett-Fairchild scored the only goal in the 20th minute at Charlton's training ground to give the Addicks their first win in the competition.

Liverpool, Stoke and Bristol City all have seven points in Group G, with the Potters having played one more match than the others.

Charlton are bottom on four points with one match remaining.

The top two qualify for the knockout stages.
