Romelu Lukaku (£11.3m) makes a first appearance since Gameweek 13 in The Scout’s select XI.

The Manchester United striker takes his place in a 4-4-2 alongside Harry Kane (£12.9m) as part of a premium-priced front pairing for Gameweek 23.

Adrian (WHU) £4.3m

The West Ham United goalkeeper retains his place after seven saves against Tottenham Hotspur. Adrian will face a Huddersfield Town attack who have failed to score in their last two matches and with only 10 home goals in total. Only three teams have scored fewer.

Marcos Alonso (CHE) £7.3m

The top-scoring defender has produced 34 points from his previous three home matches ahead of Leicester City’s visit to Stamford Bridge. Alonso recorded 21 points against Leicester in a 3-0 win at King Power Stadium a year ago, the highest score by an FPL defender last season.

Phil Jones (MUN) £5.7m

The most-signed defender ahead of Saturday’s 14:00 GMT deadline, Jones has earned 133,000+ new owners after back-to-back clean sheets. His Monday-night opponents, Stoke City, have only three goals from their previous five away trips.

Lewis Dunk (BHA) £4.5m

The Brighton & Hove Albion centre-back has kept three clean sheets in his last five matches, earning bonus points on each occasion. Dunk will bid to shut out a West Bromwich Albion attack who have failed to score in three of their last six matches at The Hawthorns.

Ben Davies (TOT) £5.5m

The left-back is expected to retain his starting place at home to Everton with Danny Rose (£6.4m) still injured. Davies has created 33 chances, more than any other defender. Everton's 58 shots since Gameweek 15, when Sam Allardyce took charge, are also the fewest in the League.

Richarlison (WAT) £6.4m

The Brazilian is without a goal since Gameweek 12, losing 127,000+ FPL owners since. But Richarlison's 55 shots in the penalty area still rank second among midfielders, behind the 67 of Mohamed Salah (£10.1m). Watford will welcome a Southampton defence with a single clean sheet since Gameweek 10.

Jesse Lingard (MUN) £6.3m

The top transfer target for Gameweek 23 with 400,000+ new owners, Lingard has seven goals and two assists from his last nine Gameweek appearances. He takes on a Stoke City side whose two clean sheets are the fewest in the League. They have also conceded the most goals this season, with 47.

Son Heung-min (TOT) £8.1m

The South Korean goes into the home meeting with Everton having scored in six of his last seven at Wembley Stadium. Son has recorded 66 points over those matches, outperforming every Spurs team-mate, including Kane, who has 59.

Eden Hazard (CHE) £10.7m

Hazard was back on the scoresheet with a penalty at Arsenal in Gameweek 22. Although he has disappointed of late, the Belgian has still scored or assisted 42% of Chelsea’s goals when on the pitch. His opponents, Leicester, have kept just one clean sheet away from home all season.

Romelu Lukaku (MUN) £11.3m

After once being part of more than 3.1 million squads Lukaku is now owned by "only" 1.3 million FPL managers. But he produced a goal and an assist in Man Utd’s FA Cup victory over Derby County, and his next opponents, Stoke, have allowed 118 shots on target. No defence have conceded more.

Harry Kane (TOT) £12.9m

The striker scored his first goals of the season against Saturday’s visitors Everton in a 3-0 win in the reverse fixture at Goodison Park. Kane also netted twice in the corresponding fixture last season. Everton have allowed 81 shots over the last four Gameweeks, more than any other defence, and so Kane is again our Gameweek captain.
