Swansea City defender Mike van der Hoorn is available despite being forced off with a hamstring problem in Matchweek 23.

Renato Sanches (hamstring) and Tammy Abraham (hip) also have a chance of playing, while club captain Angel Rangel (calf) is approaching full fitness.

Liverpool are hopeful that Mohamed Salah and Ragnar Klavan will both recover from illness, though Dejan Lovren (also illness) is considered more of a doubt.

Virgil van Dijk (hamstring) could be fit to make his Reds Premier League debut. Jordan Henderson (thigh) and Alberto Moreno (ankle) are back in training but may not be risked.

Did you know?

Liverpool have scored at least twice in each of their last six Premier League away matches, one short of their record of seven in the competition, between February and May 2014.

Swansea City have scored the fewest home goals in the Premier League this season, with six. Liverpool's 29 goals away from home are the most.

Roberto Firmino has scored five times in his last three PL appearances against Swansea, including braces in each of the last two.
