An Arsenal visit to Crystal Palace in the Premier League holds special memories for Ian Wright.

The striker scored for Arsenal at Selhurst Park in 1992/93 against the side who sold him and did not refrain from showing his joy after being booed by the home support.

"I celebrated because Palace fans were being nasty," he recalls in the video above.

Wright also struck at home to Palace that season, in a 3-0 victory that resulted in Palace’s relegation.

"After I scored I remember Nigel Martyn [the Palace goalkeeper] saying, ‘Wrighty, what are you doing? You’re going to send us down.' "
