For Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino, it won’t just be the Southampton team who are known to him when the two sides meet at Wembley in Boxing Day’s opening fixture.
Pochettion, the former Saints head coach, is also well acquainted with his St Mary’s counterpart, Mauricio Pellegrino.
The two managers were familiar with each other during the early part of their playing careers in their native Argentina in the 1980s.
"Myself and Mauricio played together when we were very young in Argentina," Pochettino told Spurs’ official website.
"I know him very well but on Boxing Day, we’ll be enemies!"
