Gibbs-White strikes to put Wolves top

Morgan Gibbs-White capitalised on an error from AFC Bournemouth goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale to give Wolverhampton Wanderers a 2-1 win at Telford that put them top of Group C.

Ramsdale inadvertently kicked the ball straight to the Wolves midfielder, who struck an 86th-minute winner.

Mikael Ndjoli had put the Cherries ahead early on at the second attempt after Harry Burgoyne had saved his initial shot, but Sylvan Deslandes levelled from close range just before half-time.

Wolves are on seven points from three matches, three ahead of Norwich City, with AFC Bournemouth on three and Bury still without a point.
