Ian Wright says Harry Kane can come close to breaking Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring record if he maintains his prolific strike rate.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Kane, who is hoping to maintain his run of scoring in every north London derby he has played when his side face Arsenal on Saturday, has scored 86 goals in 126 Premier League appearances.

And Wright believes this season's joint-top scorer can catch Shearer's total of 260 Premier League goals.

"He's a goal monster, he wants to score, every single attempt he has on goal," said Wright. "If he stays in the Premier League, I believe that he will run Shearer very, very close."

In the video above, Wright, Arsenal's one-time record goalscorer, also discusses the strengths of Gunners striker Alexandre Lacazette.
