Sorensen's Promise Ahead Of "Special" Season
Brian Sorensen has vowed his side will give their all ahead of Everton Women's historic first season at Goodison Park. An exciting season awaits for the Blues, who have signed seven players so far in the summer transfer window. It is not just the fresh faces that delight Sorensen, with the prospect of leading the Toffees at the WSL’s most iconic ground certainly something that the Dane is looking forward to. “I am so excited for the upcoming season. To call Goodison Park our home will be special,” he told evertonfc.com. “I can’t wait to be on the touch-line there for the first time. “Every time we have played there, it has felt incredible and acted as a reminder of how historic this Club really is." The Blues have fond memories of playing at the Grand Old Lady. Most recently, they secured the bragging rights over Liverpool courtesy of Katja Snoeijs’ spot-kick on home soil, before completing the double over the Reds at Anfield. Sorensen could be regularly spotted supporting the Senior Men’s side at Goodison Park, the head coach immersing himself in the Club’s culture by being a proud Season Ticket Member. “I have had a Season Ticket at Goodison Park for the last few years to watch the Men’s Senior Team,” he continued. “I have seen first-hand what the Evertonians’ support can do to the players at this place. I would love to get it rocking like that in the stands whilst we play our game on the pitch.” With his side now preparing for their inaugural campaign at the historic venue, Sorensen urged supporters to get behind his team to make their new stadium feel like home from the opening day. He said: “I am delighted with the support that has been shown so far. It fills me with so much pride and I am so grateful. “Whether it be from ticket sales or the Supporters’ Club and 1878s pledging their support with a designated atmosphere section, we all appreciate it. "We will need your support more than ever as we look to make the Grand Old Lady feel like home. Keep backing us, and we will continue to give our all,” added Sorensen. “Let’s enjoy this historic chapter, together.” Adult Season Tickets are priced at just £100, with under-18s able to secure their place for £50 – offering outstanding value at approximately £4 per match. >>>Click here to secure your Season Ticket>>>> Supporters who purchase before Monday 28 July 2025 will also receive: An exclusive welcome gift An invitation to a special open training session during the season Automatic entry into a prize draw for a behind-the-scenes tour of Everton’s Finch Farm training ground
