The 2024/25 Premier League Youth Development Conference was held at Wembley Stadium earlier this month, continuing the great work that is being done to collate and share expertise and knowledge from across the academy system.

The annual event also celebrated the achievements of academy players and staff, with the presentation of awards including Premier League 2 Player of the Season - won by Manchester City defender Jahmai Simpson-Pusey - and both Goal and Save of the Season at Under-18 and Under-21 level.

Among the award-winners were two players who featured regularly for senior teams during the Premier League season.

Ipswich Town forward Liam Delap (37 appearances, 12 goals), a product of Derby County and Man City's youth systems, was named Academy Graduate of the Year for on-pitch achievements.

Meanwhile, 18-year-old left-back Myles Lewis-Skelly (23 appearances, one goal) was Arsenal's winner in the club-by-club Scholars of the Year awards.
