The Scout's panel of Fantasy Premier League experts reveal who they are planning to captain in Gameweek 37 ahead of the deadline at 18:00 BST on Friday 16 May.
Ben Crabtree (@FC_Crabdogg)
I like Bryan Mbeumo (£8.3m) facing a Fulham side with only one clean sheet since Gameweek 23.
Lee Bonfield (@FPLFamily)
With their minds firmly elsewhere ahead of next week's UEFA Europa League final, there's little for Spurs to play for in the league, so a trip to a highly-motivated Aston Villa side is the last thing they want. I'm backing the home team to perform well and giving the captaincy to either Morgan Rogers (£5.7m) or Ollie Watkins (£9.0m).
Nick Harris (@WGTA_Nick)
I'm currently on Mohamed Salah (£13.7m). He has been a dependable option for the majority of the season and with no standout pick, he is one of the safer options.
Utkarsh Dalmia (@ZopharFPL)
Spurs gave up eight big chances to Crystal Palace last weekend and have their eyes firmly on the Europa League final. Even if they put a stronger XI out, players will be playing at half pace to avoid getting injured, so I think Watkins could go big.
Gianni Buttice (@GianniButtice)
I currently have the armband on Mbeumo. Fulham conceded three goals last time out to Everton and it feels like this is a good time to play them. Brentford know a win will put them in a good position to secure European football next season.
However, if I buy Watkins, I will probably captain him. I'm just unsure about making that move, as selling Alexander Isak (£9.5m) feels risky.
Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily)
I'm currently backing Mbeumo given their favourable fixture and motivation for Brentford.
It's a shame that Man City have the FA Cup final ahead of their Gameweek 37 fixture, otherwise I would be tempted by Kevin De Bruyne (9.6m) in his last home match before he leaves at the end of the season.
Pranil Sheth (@lateriser12)
Palace registered their second highest Expected Goals (xG) score of the season last weekend against Spurs, tallying eight big chances. This makes a motivated Villa and Watkins an enticing prospect. I am also tempted by Salah against Brighton, given he has four goals in his last three league matches against them, and I expect that to be an open game.
Pras (@PrasFPL)
I think this is a wide open week for captaincy. Salah, Cole Palmer (£10.5m), Mbeumo and Watkins are all good choices. For my team, selling Mateta for Watkins and captaining him makes a lot of sense and it's what I will probably do. I don't expect a fully rotated Spurs side, but with Villa having to win to finish in the top five and facing a Spurs team with limited motivation in the league, I am backing Villa to score two or three goals.
