Ten KEY questions for this weekend's matches

As many as 10 assets with two matches feature in the Scout Selection for Double Gameweek 33 (DGW33) in Fantasy Premier League.

Manchester City trio Josko Gvardiol (£6.2m), Kevin De Bruyne (£9.3m) and Omar Marmoush (£7.6m) are picked for their matches against Everton and Aston Villa.

There’s also a triple-up on Crystal Palace, with Daniel Munoz (£5.3m) and Jean-Philippe Mateta (£7.8m) joined by manager Oliver Glasner (£0.8m) for their encounters with AFC Bournemouth and Arsenal. Glasner is the only one of the four DGW33 managers who can earn table bonus in either of their fixtures when using the Assistant Manager chip.

Arsenal pair William Saliba (£6.5m) and Leandro Trossard (£6.7m) and Villa duo Emiliano Martinez (£5.0m) and Morgan Rogers (£5.6m) are included, with Mohamed Salah (£13.8m) and Jarrod Bowen (£7.5m) the only players with a single fixture.

Scout Selection
Emiliano Martinez (Aston Villa) £5.0m

The Argentinian offers a secure route into the Aston Villa defence against Newcastle United and Man City. Martinez has kept two clean sheets over the last three Gameweeks and should provide save points at the very least over his two matches.

William Saliba (Arsenal) £6.5m

Arsenal’s Frenchman is the most-owned defender in Fantasy, found in over 32 per cent of squads. Saliba is likely to be the Gunners’ main aerial threat from set-pieces, with his fellow centre-back Gabriel (£6.2m) sidelined for the rest of the season.

Josko Gvardiol (Man City) £6.2m

The Croat has helped Man City collect three clean sheets over their last six league matches. Gvardiol earned four bonus points over those encounters and, added to his five goals this season, offers multiple routes to returns.

Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace) £5.3m

Despite a disastrous score of -1 points in Double Gameweek 32, the Palace wing-back’s goal threat is worth the investment alone. Munoz’s 29 shots in the box and 12 shots on target both place top among defenders in 2024/25 Fantasy.

Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) £13.8m

A visit to Leicester City gives Liverpool’s Egyptian the chance to get back to his very best in Fantasy. Salah has amassed 59 points in his five meetings with this season’s promoted clubs, scoring or assisting in all of them.

Kevin De Bruyne (Man City) £9.3m

Man City’s Belgian was the top-scoring DGW33 player in the previous round of matches, earning 12 points thanks to a goal and an assist against Palace. Owned by just five per cent of managers, De Bruyne is shaping up as a major differential ahead of Saturday’s 13:30 BST deadline.

Jarrod Bowen (West Ham) £7.5m

Similarly to Salah, the West Ham United star faces one of this season’s promoted clubs when the Hammers host Southampton this weekend. Bowen has produced 28 points across his four meetings with such opponents this campaign.

Leandro Trossard (Arsenal) £6.7m

The Belgian has been one of the main beneficiaries of Mikel Arteta’s recent rotation around UEFA Champions League matches. Trossard has started 12 of the Gunners’ last 13 league matches, suggesting he will get good minutes against Ipswich Town and Palace.

Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa) £5.6m

Villa’s midfielder has the form to keep providing great value in Fantasy. Rogers has produced two goals, three assists, 35 points and just one blank over his last five outings.

Jean-Philippe Mateta (Crystal Palace) £7.8m

The Frenchman's home form looks encouraging for the first of his DGW33 matches, against AFC Bournemouth, in particular. Mateta has scored in four of his last five outings at Selhurst Park, claiming 33 points during that run.

Omar Marmoush (Man City) £7.6m

The Egyptian has profited from a role up front due to Erling Haaland's (£14.7m) injury. Marmoush has blanked just once over the last four Gameweeks, producing three goals, an assist and 30 points.
