The Scout is going through each position to help managers shape their plans for Double Gameweek 33 (DGW33) of Fantasy Premier League, when Arsenal, Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Manchester City all play two matches.
Forwards
Man City's Omar Marmoush (£7.6m) is the in-form forward among the DGW33 clubs.
Playing up front recently in the absence of Erling Haaland (£14.8m), the Egyptian has scored three goals and supplied an assist over the last six Gameweeks.
Added to his seven bonus points, this has helped Marmoush total 33 points - just three points behind the 36 of Jorgen Strand Larsen (£5.4m) at the summit among all forwards.
Both Ollie Watkins (£8.9m) and Jean-Philippe Mateta (£7.8m) have scored twice, with the Villa star also supplying an assist to collect 23 points.
But it's worth noting that Watkins' potential has been somewhat limited as a result of Unai Emery's recent rotation due to Villa's European involvement.
The England international has made three starts and a further two substitute appearances in this period, with both those outings off the bench coming over the last three Gameweeks.
Mateta was briefly sidelined at the start of this spell through injury, but he has disappointed since, with just 19 points over his last five matches.
Meanwhile, there's no Arsenal forward in the analysis as midfielder Mikel Merino (£6.1m) has played up front due to Kai Havertz's (£7.7m) injury.
DGW33 forwards' output, GW27-32
Player | G | A | Bonus pts | Pts |
Marmoush | 3 | 1 | 7 | 33 |
---|---|---|---|---|
Watkins | 2 | 1 | 5 | 23 |
Mateta | 2 | 0 | 4 | 19 |
Who is the most likely to get goals and assists?
The underlying statistics show Marmoush has greater all-round potential for both goals and assists than his DGW33 rivals.
The Egyptian has had 19 shots over the last six Gameweeks, more than the combined 13 of Watkins and Mateta.
Marmoush's involvement in big chances, which are situations where the player is expected to score, lifts his appeal as a strong captaincy candidate for DGW33.
He has had four big chances and created a further four, which means he has been involved in eight big chances.
Once again, that betters the totals of combined totals of Watkins and Mateta, who have been involved in three big chances each during the same spell.

So, who are the best forwards for DGW33?
Marmoush's numbers are far more impressive than either Watkins or Mateta and there's a real arguement for captaining him against Everton and Villa.
Although Mateta's stats aren't the greatest here, he looks far more likely to start both his side's matches than Watkins.
The Villa star just seems too risky a pick, given Emery's recent teamsheets, which indicates that managers who are using their Bench Boost chip should consider a single-Gameweek alternative.
Frustratingly, the three clubs - Arsenal, Liverpool and West Ham United - who face this season's promoted contingent, all fielded Fantasy midfielders as forwards in Double Gameweek 32 (DGW32), which further dilutes the list of candidates.
Brentford's Yoane Wissa (£6.5m) and Nottingham Forest's Chris Wood (£6.9m) could be the best options.
Wissa has blanked just twice in his last seven matches and is at home to Brighton & Hove Albion. Wood, meanwhile, returned from injury in DGW32 and now visits a Tottenham Hotspur side who have conceded 12 goals across their last seven matches, failing to keep a single clean sheet.
