The Scout's panel of Fantasy Premier League experts give their thoughts on who to captain in Gameweek 32 ahead of the deadline at 11:00 BST on Saturday 6 April.

Over the last six matches, Liverpool have the highest Expected Goals (xG). Conversely, Manchester United have the highest Expected Goals Conceded (xGC).

How much do you trust the stats? Mohamed Salah (£13.4m) is the go-to captain this week for the data purists!

Erling Haaland (£14.3m), Cole Palmer (£6.0m), Son Heung-min (10.1m) and Salah all look like great picks this week with favourable matchups.

I am currently favouring Salah with Man Utd having Jonny Evans (£4.0m), Raphael Varane (£4.9m) and Lisandro Martinez (£4.7m) injured but you can make a case for any of the quartet.

Looking at the best fixture for one of my big hitters and Son is the only option. Hopefully he can make it three hauls in his last five matches.

Palmer has a great record against the newly promoted teams and is fresh off a midweek hat-trick. Sheffield United also have the worst xGC at home in the league this season.

My other candidate for the armband is Salah, who loves playing Man Utd in what could be a very high-scoring end-to-end encounter, if the recent FA Cup quarter-final tie between the two sides is anything to go by.

I am torn this week, different captain strategies I see as giving massive potential for advantages in mini leagues. After his hat-trick in midweek, Palmer looks the go to for captaincy, however Salah came off on 59 minutes and didn't look happy about it.

He has nine goals and four assists in the last six Premier League meetings when Liverpool and Man Utd face each other. It's a choice between these two for me and at the moment but I am leaning towards the Egyptian.

Gameweek 32 captaincy is one of the hardest of the season. Palmer, Salah, Haaland and Son are all in contention, but I do love a late kick-off captain, so currently I'm hoping Son can turn his form around.
